Anaheim is the largest city in Orange County and home to Disneyland, a major convention center, and professional hockey and baseball teams. The area near those highly visited spots is not great for running — the streets are busy and populated by hotels, chain restaurants, and strip malls.
The best places to run in Anaheim are Mile Square Park and the Colony Historic District right in the center. Ten miles east, the Anaheim Hills area has some great residential streets and several gorgeous parks for running. The Santa Ana River Trail passes through Anaheim on its way to the coast.
