Just south of the Maschsee and the Südschnellweg highway, there are several small ponds, with pleasant, pastoral paths looping around and between them (Teich=Pond). It’s fun to mix and match these paths. Overall, a loop around is 5 km. The popular Seecafé Shinebar is a lovely spot for a post-run bite or brew, overlooking the ponds.
Optional Longer Run: Paths along the Leine River heading south to Wülfel. This adds 4 km out and back.
Add-Ons: Incorporate the ponds run with our river path routes and Maschsee loop, just north of the ponds, for a longer run
