Harrison Bay State Park

Harrison Bay State Park is among the many wonderful options for trail running in the Chattanooga area. We like this place in particular because of it’s relatively easy-to-follow, flat Bay Point Loop Trail. The mainly wooded trail is a 4.1 miles loop. There are some occasional glimpses of Harrison Bay. The trail is fairly narrow, but the footing generally good — there are some occasional tree roots. There are some other trails in the park, but they’re shorter and not contiguous.

The park is also a popular spot for boating, fishing, and kayak rentals.
