There are 10+ km of scenic waterfront paths in Mali Lošinj, featuring wonderful views of the Adriatic and surrounding countryside. In the center of town, the path is ~1.7 km around the harbor/marina between the ferry terminal and the Spomenik oslobođenja Lošinja memorial, passing by the Museum of Apoxyomenos and the Lošinj Museum. A connector road, Ul. Conrada Clara, leads to Čikat, where which is where the longer waterfront path is located. Our thanks to Robert Koch for suggesting this route!

In Čikat, the Čikat Ul. path winds for nearly 10 km along the water, passing by several beaches and other landmarks. There are wonderful views. Some sections of the path are more narrow sidewalk, while other sections are a wider promenade. It’s gentle rolling hill terrain, alternating between being along the water and above it. The pine forest edges close to the water in parts. The south end of the path is at the Plaža Borik (public path), and the north end is at Čikat Forest Park. There are several beaches and great swimming spots along the way!
