Features:
This easygoing (mostly gravel, partially paved) trail runs southeast along the Roaring Fork River for about 3.5 miles. From town, it starts at the intersection of East Cooper Ave and South Riverside Ave. At Salvation Ditch, it crosses to the other side of the river and spans along Route 82. At North Star Nature Preserve, there is a wildlife viewing stand and interpretive info. The trail ends at Difficult Campground Road, where runners can turn around for a round trip of about 7 miles.
