Chattanooga Chase 8k Course

This route follows the course of the poplar Chattanooga Chase 8k Course. It’s a fun opportunity to run a mapped course through one of Chattanooga’s nicest neighborhoods. Highlights include attractive homes of the historic Riverview District, great views of the city & river, a section parallel to the Chattanooga Golf & Country Club, and lovely oak trees. It’s a fairly hilly route.

Start at Riverview Park, and do a 3/4 loop, returning to Riverview Ave. Run for 1 mile along Riverview (good shoulder), turning RIGHT on Sunset. Follow the map, using Woodhill, Hixson Pike, and then a nice 1-mile stretch along bucolic Minnedkhada Rd. (note: no shoulder). LEFT on Edgewood Cir. for 0.3 miles, returning to Minnedkhada Rd. and then LEFT on Riverview Ave., returning for the last 1.2 miles to the start.
