Chetumal is a small waterfront city at the southeastern end of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, near the Belize border. There’s a lovely run along Chetumal Bay, following Boulevard Bahía along the water for nearly 11 km. There are a couple of sections of separate waterfront path of the Malecón de Chetumal, but most of the path north of central Chetumal is on a wide, palm-lined sidewalk with intermittent water views.

The path starts in central Chetumal at the intersection with Bl. Rafael E. Melgar, and continues along Chetumal Bay through the center of town and then north, to the viewoint (Mirador) at Calderitas Beach.
