Best Columbus Neighborhoods for Running

Columbus has some wonderful residential neighborhoods for running, all of them in proximity to some of the longer multi-use trails in the city. Create your own route in these neighborhoods!

German Village. Historic neighborhood just south of downtown with wonderful architecture. Includes Schiller Park. Can add on with Scioto Audubon Metro Park. See this post.

Victorian Village. Just north of downtown, this pretty neighborhoods of residential streets features an eclectic mix of architectural styles, ranging from Second Empire and Italianate to Gothic Revival and Queen Anne.

Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff. This pleasant residential neighborhood with pretty, tree-shaded streets is sandwiched between the Olentangy and Scioto Rivers . Combine with the upscale Marble Cliff, and the Lower Scioto Greenway.

Worthington. In the northern part of Columbus. Pleasant residential streets and quaint commercial areas. Linworth Park and Perry Park are two small parks that add to the run!
