For some pleasant, fairly easy trail running, Rockburn Branch Park is a good choice. The park is located in Elkridge, which is 10 miles east of Columbia, towards Baltimore. The park features 9 miles of natural surface trails. The landscape is a mix of wooded and some open fields.
For running, choose from among three color-coded loop trails, or mix & match them for longer runs! This trail map is a helpful resource. There are also information kiosks located throughout the park.
