Parque Sarmiento is perhaps the most popular running area in Córdoba, and not just for its convenient location between the San Martín and the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. This 17 hectare park — the largest in Argentina — features museums, lakes, rose gardens, and a variety of brick running paths. The Plaza España, Plaza del Bicentenario, and Escaleras del Córdoba are some of the top sights in the park. A loop around the main pathways is about 5.7 km, with options for additional interior paths.
Longer Run/Add-On: Continue into the campus of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, one of South America’s oldest universities, for a longer route. There are plenty of bike paths and runnable sidewalks to enjoy within the grounds.
