The best place to run in Novi Sad is the series of paths along the left bank of the Danube River. One can run for up to 5.6 km one-way from the northern end where the Danube meets the Dunav tributary south to just past the Yacht Club. There’s good access to the path from the city center, off Dunaska
The trail skirts some of the most important sections of Novi Sad: Old City (Stari Grad), the University, and the Liman neighborhood. Along most of the way, there are separate pedestrian and cycle paths. The best water views are the sections of the path north of the University.
Add-Ons: Some nice spots just inland from the trail: the streets of Stari Grad (Old City), Dunavski Park, paths around Novi Sad University, Limanski Park — all parts of our ‘runseeing’ tour. You can also combine with some paths along the right bank and the Petrovaradin Fortress, using the New Žeželj Bridge to cross.
