Canal Multi-Use Path

Creative Commons: de:Benutzer:Flyout

One of the best options for a flat, easy-to-follow run in Davos is along the cycle path that extends south of the center along the narrow canal. The path starts off Dammweg, just south of town, and parallels Landwasserstrasse for 2.5 km, with the train tracks on the east side, ending at Sertigerstrasse. There are views all around.

It’s also possible to run along the canal north of town, towards Lake Davos, for ~1 km. The path parallels the train line. Also in the center of town is a running track at the DAVOS TOURISMUSUNd SPORTZENTRUM. It’s turned into a popular ice skating rink in winter.

Essentials
  • 5 km (3.2 miles) out and back
  • 26m (85 feet) out and back
  • Off Dammweg, just south of town
  • Can access from the center -- use Dammweg (~1 km)
