Davos is an Alpine town and a major ski destination and recreation resort area. It’s located on the river Landwasser, with a spectacular setting in the Rhaetian Alps. The resort area is referred to as Davos Klosters. Davos is also famous as host of the annual World Economic Forum. There are terrific options for running in Davos , including more than 700 km of trails.

Some of the best places to run in Davos are the loop around Lake Davos and river/canal-side paths. Then there are fantastic trail running options, with something for all abilities. The extensive lift system is a great resource for accessing some of the trails.

Runners should note that the area is a major ski destination in winter, and trails can be snow covered and utilized for alpine or nordic skiing.
