Features:
Located in New Smyrna Beach, the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve is one of the best opportunities within the immediate area for some off-road running. The 2,479-acre preserve overlooking Spruce Creek has several miles of trails for multiple purposes. There’s 3 miles of nature trails, affording lovely views, and some 10 miles of bike trails that can also be used for running (though keep an eye out!). The terrain is a mix of open and wooded, with some nice views marsh/river views. We haven’t mapped a specific route, but see the attached map for trail information. There are several entrances to Doris Leeper — the trail head at 1755 Martin Dairy Road provides the best access to trail running in the Preserve.
