Lac Kir Loop

Donald Judge

Lac Kir is a gorgeous lake park just west of the city, where a well-groomed dirt path circumnavigates the water. A full loop around the park, starting from the camping area, is about 5 km, but there are lots of side paths, nooks, and little beaches to explore. To get great views of the lake and enjoy a bit of a trail run, cross over to Fontaine aux Fées Park, which has a series of hilly paths. Good crossing at the parking area near the restrooms and Le Mandarin restaurant.

For a longer run, runners can hop on paths along the Quai des Carrières Blanches on the south side of the park.

Essentials
  • Lake Loop: 5 km (3.1 miles); Good add-on options
  • 37m (124 feet)
  • Camping area or Parking area near Le Mandarin restaurant
  • 3 km west of central Dijon
