Hendricks Park

Rick Obst

The oldest park in Eugene, the 80-acre Hendricks Park boasts one of the world’s most lovely rhododendron gardens as well as miles of runnable paths, including the northern terminus of the 12-mile Ridgeline Trail. Pavement runners will enjoy the Old Road Trail (just off Fairmount Boulevard) and garden paths, while trail runners may want to take on the 3 miles of the park’s dirt singletrack gems. The attached trail map has good information on trail length and elevation.

Add-Ons: Nice other trails in the area — the Amazon neighborhood to the west, and the Laurel Hill neighborhood to the east.
