Shri Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy Botanical Garden & GMC Sports Complex

The Shri Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy Botanical Garden, also known simply as the Hyderabad Botanical Garden, is located in the Kondapur neighborhood of northwest Hyderabad. In addition to cool greenhouses, coy ponds, and a variety of flora, the park boasts a collection of smooth, runnable dirt trails. A loop around the grounds is about 3.5 km, but runners can also cross the Botanical Garden Road to find more paths at the GHMC Park Loop. Another great nearby option is to rent a bike and take a loop around the Paala Pitta Cycling Park.

Add-Ons: Just south of the the Botanical Garden is the GMC Sports Complex, which has a running track. The Kondapur area just north has some decent inner roads for running, and the University of Hyderabad, just west, has nice paths around the campus.

Essentials
  • 3.5 km (2.2 miles) loop
