Great Runs has put together four separate running guides covering the southwest coast of England. It’s organized by county and focused on the coastal towns. Click on the links below for those locations.
Hampshire County: The focus is mainly on coastal sections, stretching from Portsmouth west to Milford On Sea.
Dorset: From Highfliffe to Lyme Regis. Includes Christchurch, Southbourne, Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage, Weymouth.
Devon: South-coast harbour towns from Sidmouth to Dartmouth, including the ‘English Riviera’, towns on the River Exe, and some spots in North Devon.
Cornwall. Starting at the Devon border at Mount Edgcumbe, there are great routes in the south coast ‘Cornish Riviera’ harbour villages of Fowey, Falmouth, & Porthleven, working our way to the western end at Penzance, Land’s End, & St. Ives, and then the headlands and beaches of the north coast seaside resorts of Newquay & Bude.
