Features:
Forêt Domaniale de Haye: This enormous forest just to the west of Nancy is chock-full of runnable paths. It stretches across a wooded plateau for over 11,000 hectares, including some national forest land. There aren’t very many good maps online, but a quick glance at Google shows the extent of the huge network of asphalt and gravel roads. The good news is that traffic is light in this area, so almost any road is fair game.
Forêt Domaniale de la Reine/Lorraine Regional Nature Reserve: These public parklands to the northwest of Nancy also have a wide selection of forest roads and trails. Runners can also venture out into the surrounding countryside for a scenic run. The Coeur de Lorraine tourism department has mapped several routes throughout the area. SEE ROUTES.
