Features:
Located in the Vomero district, just west of Naples center, this street wrapping around St. Elmo’s Castle and the San Martino overlook is one of the rare opportunities for a long sidewalk run in Naples. Adding to the glory of this route, Corso Vittorio Emmanuele climbs high above the coast, offering incredible views of the city and the bay below. It ends with a challenging climb up the “Pedamentina” staircase to the San Martino vista, where you’ll be met with great views, shops, and restaurants before backtracking for a roughly 6.5 km out and back. Note this is a hilly run!
For more mileage, just west of the castle in the Vomero neightborhood features several piazzas and wide pedestrian streets.
