Features:
Most runners in Patras will head toward the water, where it’s possible to run along the Gulf of Patras for about 6.5 km. It is not a seamless ‘boardwalk’ with water views the whole way. There are some lovely sections of dedicated path along the water, and connector sections along the main Il. Politechniou road. Bonus: Patras South Park is well lit at night.
The northern end starts at the Elos Marshes Observatory in Agia, just north of the train station. The southern end is at Patras South Park in the Patras New Port area. Some of the nicest sections are:
- From the north end at Elos Marshes for 1.7 km
- 0.5 km along the Moxy Patra Marina
- The southern 2 km between the Lighthouse of Patras and the end of Patras South Park

- Up to 6.5 km (4 miles) one-way
- Fairly flat
- Anywhere along the route. Can start in central Patras and head north or south
- Anywhere along the route. North end is Elos Marshes Observatory in Agia, south end is Patras South Park
