Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, TN

Patriot Park & Riverwalk Greenway

The Riverwalk Greenway is the go-to running option in Pigeon Forge. The paved multi-use path runs across the town for 3.3 miles, between the High School, over the Island in Pigeon Forge, to Patriot Park. A good part of the path is along the Pigeon Forge River.
Bonus: Trail is lit at night!

Our mapped route starts at Patriot Park, with the 1/2 mile loop around the Patriot Park Walkway. Then, join the Riverwalk Greenway trail just north of there, off Butler St. Following the trail on the east side of the river, head north, passing the Tourist Information Center to the Island in Pigeon Forge, with its iconic ferris wheel. Continue along the river, crossing the Parkway, to the High School area & Pigeon Forge Public Library.

Winterfest. CC: Neil Williamson

Pro Tip: The Island and main part of Pigeon Forge is magically lit up during the Winterfest celebration, which runs from November-February. Makes night running in the area a treat!  INFORMATION
