La Marginal de Arecibo (Boardwalk)

Sunset runs and ocean views don’t get any better than they do from Arecibo’s “Marginal” boardwalk, a coastal cement walkway spanning about 2 miles along Avenida Victor Rojas. On the east end, runners can pick up the boardwalk just before the bridge over the Río Grande. The path continues west through Parque de Duhamel, where it thins into a more narrow sidewalk, ending near the point of Obrero.

Located in Puerto Rico’s northern coastal valley region, Arecibo is is Puerto Rico’s largest city by geographical size. It’s home to caves, a forest, lighthouse, and the world’s most powerful radar-radio telescope.
