A fantastic run in this famous port city, combining a jaunt on the Old City Walls and waterfront paths along Sillon Beach & Bas Sablons marina. Add-ons include charming interior streets, Grand Bé & Fort National (at low tide). Beaches also runnable.
Good running options at this historic site. Omaha Beach itself is very runnable, 8+ km. There's also a 3.4 km beachfront path, scenic cycle paths headed west & east of the beach, and quiet, interior 'hedgerow' roads.
An enjoyable 'runseeing' tour of France's second-largest port city, including the lighthouse, 2.5 km seafront promenade, paths around the port, and a jaunt through the city center. Can also run across the Normandy Bridge to Honfleur.
Running along the bluff of the white limestone cliffs of Étretat is one of the great running experiences in Normandy. Open windswept landscape, with dramatic views of the sea, the cliffs, and fields. The easier direction is headed east.
A wonderful 10k coastal run on quiet roads, with Nice views of Mahone Harbour. For variety or an add-on, the Bay to Bay Trail runs for 13.7 km between Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.
A recent and wonderful addition to the Busan running scene! The paved boardwalk path runs alongside a rail line for 4.2 km between Haeundae and Songjeong Beach. Great views of the water, beach, and the Busan skyline. Add with beachside paths.
Panama City’s signature running option, the Ciclovia Cinta Costera is one of the finest waterfront running routes in Latin America. This paved path is in great condition, stretching more for 8+ km between Estadio Maracana in the south and Democracy Plaza in the north.
Some of the best places to run in East London are: Victoria Park/Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to the Hackney Marshes; Wanstead Park; Greenwich Park & Blackheath; and the Cray Riverway.
