The Port to Park Walkway is another nice waterfront run in central Tauranga. The concrete path goes for 3.3 km between Tauranga Port and Fergusson Park. There are lovely views of Plenty Bay, and some nice shade trees.
The eastern end of the Walkway starts at the intersection of Maxwells St. & Harbour Rd. Follow the path west, paralleling Harbour Dr., passing through Kulim Park. At the west end is Fergusson Park, where you can continue for another ~0.5 km along Tilby Dr.
Add-Ons; Combine with our Waikareao Estuary loop, just across Chapel St.
