Bainbridge Island, just across the bay from Seattle, is a gorgeous location for a run anytime of year, but especially enjoyable on Thanksgiving, when you know your mileage benefits local charity Helpline House. The course is a simple 5k around Battle Point Park, with 1 mile options for kids and those taking it easy. Note: day after Thanksgiving.
