Vingis Park, to the west of Vilnius center along the Neris River, is one of the most sought after exercise spaces in the city. This sizeable, 160 hectare park, has many km of paved paths/ Start from either of the two entrances at M. K. Čiurlionio Street or Birutės Street. A loop around the park’s outermost paths is about 5 km, and there is a 0.7 km track at the center of the park. There are plenty of options to extend the route with a little zigzagging. There are also numerous dirt trails situated throughout the forest. With a little exploration, you can stumble upon other workout options like the “forest gym.”

If coming from the center of the city, the best way to access the park is M. K. Čiurlionio. This street, beginning near the Frank Zappa Memorial, is a straight shot west into the park. It can add about 2 km to any run, and features a nice tree lined sidewalk the whole way.
