Tysiąclecia Park/Ślęza River

Tysiąclecia, or “Millennium” Park is a large green space alongside the Ślęza River. The park is the entryway to a fantastic pathway along the Ślęza, in the western part of Wrocław. The path is mostly hard-packed dirt, with some paved sections through the park. In most places, the way is obvious, but the path is unmarked and there are a couple of tough-to-navigate sections at bridge and railway crossings. For runners who don’t mind forging their own way, this is one of the best options for a longer distance run in Wrocław, with up to 9 km one way between Tysiąclecia and Kleciński parks. There are also paths on the east bank of the river, but the route on the west bank is the easiest to follow.

Essentials
  • Up to 9 km (5.6 miles) one-way
  • 20 meters (68 feet)
  • Path starts at northern end of Millennium Park
  • Szczecińska Station
