Designed in a grand style, the 290-acre Parc de la Tête d’Or is a European classic. A lake, grand allées, statues, specimen trees, rides, a zoo, botanical garden and rose garden. Most popular is the 4 km (2.5 mile) ‘jogging trail’, a wide paved path that follows the outer perimeter of the park. There are also numerous interior paths (mostly cinder surface), ranging from pretty sections along the lake to some wooded sections.
