The Suquía River winds right through the center of Córdoba. It’s many paved, waterfront pathways offer runners plenty of opportunities for a long run while exploring the city along the way. Runners can access the river paths from almost any point in the city (the best conditions tend to be on the north bank along Ramon B. Mestre). There are some nice parks along the way, including Parque Kempes/Parque Chateau and Parque Municipal San Martín. It’s about 14 km one-way between Puente 15 and Punete Yapeyu. One of the most popular sections, right in the center of Córdoba, is the area between Puente La Tablada and Puente Santa Fe. We’ve also mapped a central loop around both riverbanks of 6.5 km. Keep your eye out for strength training equipment — like pull up bars — along the way.
