One can put together a quite nice run in the Montaza Palace area, either as a standalone route or as part of the Alexandria Corniche. Montaza Palace is an ornate, 1930s-era palace that’s now a large public park, with lovely grounds and landscaping. Create your own route on the palm-lined palace grounds, which includes Elmontaza Garden. Then, take the road or the beach to the gorgeous El Montaza Bridge, with its great views of the palace and the Mediterranean out to Tea Island & Montazah Beach. NOTE: There are construction projects and development in the area that could affect the running options in the Palace area. The Alexandria Corniche is the most reliable of the running routes in the area.

For a longer run, there’s a ~1 km waterfront path along Al-Mamoura Public Beach, on the other side of the Paradise Inn Beach Resort. Another option is to join the Alexandria Corniche, the waterfront promenade that goes for 21 km west toward Alexandria.

~4-5 km, including Palace Grounds, Tea Island, Al-Mamoura Public Beach
The signature run in Alexandria. Fantastic waterfront path along the Mediterranean from the Citadel to Montaza Palace. Great water views & historic sites. Up to 21 km, can be extended for another 4-5 km to Tea Island.
Stitch together a decent run in central Alexandria by combining two small parks, Al Shalalat Park & El Qably Park, with two nearby running tracks. They're ~1 km from the Corniche, for a longer run.
The Alexandria Sporting Club is a popular recreation & fitness facility. A decent loop around the club's paths is 2.3 km, which can be combined with a running track across the street or the Corniche path nearby.
