Xget’tem’ Trail & Peterson Creek Park

Photo: Hike Kamloops

Peterson Creek Park is a scenic city park in the Lower Sahali part of southern Kamloops. The 100-hectare park features 10 km of trails, ranging from easy to challenging. There are some lovely sections of open grasslands. Note: hilly!   TRAIL MAP

Xget’tem’ Trail. A short, hilly off-road run on a 1.7 km paved multi-use path, winding its way through dry, hilly scrub brush. The elevation gain is 140m — it’s all uphill from east to west. Bonus: Lit at night!

Other Trails: There are several km of narrow, more rugged trails in the hills just north of the Xget’tem’ Trail, and also across the highway. Hilly!
