In the western part of Kamloops, the Airport Trail makes for a pleasant off-road run. Not only that, but an out & back is an even, flat 10k! The Airport Trail runs for 5 km between Aviation Way and Cinnamon Ridge., off Tranquille Rd. It’s a wide, flat gravel path, traveling through an open landscape featuring views of farmland and surrounding mountains. It’s a nice way to clock in some easy miles.
Add-Ons: There are hillside trails with views of the hoodoos at Cinnamon Ridge, just across Tranquille Rd. It’s fairly rugged, hilly trail running. Additional trails in Lac Du Bois Grasslands.
