There’s 8 km of scenic waterfront running along the Pak Shek Kok Promenade in Science Park. Located on the west side of Tolo Harbour, Science Park is home to numerous technology companies, high-rise condo complexes, and hotels. There are separate pedestrian and cycle paths. There are great views of the water, skyline, & surrounding mountains. Bonus: About 2.3 km betweeare right alongside a busy road. Lit at night.
In Science Park, the path starts at Pak Shek Kok Waterfront Park. Run along the paved path. The first 2.3 km are scenic, and then km 2 to km 5 between Chong San Rd. and Tai Po Tai Wong Yeh Temple are alongside a busy road. Past the Temple, km 5-8 are lovely, as the path veers away from the road and passes through Yuen Chau Tsai Park and Tai Po Waterfront Park (some additional paths), with its Spiral Lookout Tower. The path ends at Tai Po Waterfront Pier.
Add-Ons: It’s possible to combine this with the path along the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin via a connecting ~2.5 km path around a busy road area. And across the Sha Tin Twin Bridge, you can connect to the Ma On Shan Promenade.
