This route, located in the west Las Vegas & Summerlin areas, is one of the best in the area. It’s nearly all off-road, combining the Lone Mountain & Bonanza multi-use trails, parks, & sports complexes. There’s also a running track at the Bette Wilson Soccer Complex. The full loop is 8 miles, but can also be broken up into sections.  Our thanks to Hallie B. for suggesting this route!

Start at Doc Romeo Park, which is the north end of the Lone Mountain Trail (the multi-use path, not the hiking trail). Run south on this paved multi-use path for 2.3 miles to Summerlin Pkwy. You’ll pass the Bette Wilson SoccerComplex (running track) at ~1 mile. Then, head west on the Bonanza Trail for 1.7 miles, passing through the Kellogg Zacher Sports Complex. At N Durango Dr., head north on the Angel Park Trail for 0.8 miles, crossing W Vegas Dr. into Pueblo Park. Then, head east on the pleasant path through Pueblo Park for 1.4 miles to the end at W Lake Meade Blvd. There’s a short section on W Lake Meade Blvd. (decent sidewalk), to the Soccer Complex, where you can complete the loop.
