Huqiu Wetland Park is another in a series of wetland parks in Suzhou that are terrific for running. It’s located in the Huqiu District northwest of Suzhou’s historic Gusu District, near Tiger Hill (Huqiu Shan). The park has an extensive network of trails, with a nice variety of landscape with forest and wetland. The trails are a mix of some paved, dirt, and boardwalks. There’s a Visitor Center, which can provide maps & information on the trails.
There are 10km+ of trails in the area. There are interlocking and winding trails, so we don’t design a specific route or loop. One could do a perimeter loop of some 10.5 km.
