Batumi Seafront Promenade

Google Street View

The Seafront Promenade is the signature run in Batumi. A paved path runs along Batumi Beach on the Black Sea for 8 km, featuring water views the whole way. It’s a festive scene, with shops, restaurants, parks, and numerous attractions. For much of the route, there are separate cycle and pedestrian paths. Bonus: lit at night.

The northern end of the Promenade starts at the Ali & Nino Statue, originally made for the Venice Biennal. Head south for up to 8 km. You’ll pass Batumi Blvd. Park, University Fountain, the Dolphinarium, and the Dancing Fountains. At the 5 km mark is Lech and Maria Kachinsky Park, which goes for 1+ km and features an outdoor gym, the Flip-flops on eggs attraction, the Labyrinth of Desires, and more fountains. From there, the path continues for another 1.5 km to its end at the breakwater.
