This run in the Campina section of Belém combines several leafy squares/parks and a short but scenic waterfront path in the Estação das Docas area. It’s one of the best places to run in Belém outside Utinga State Park. It’s 5.5 km and mostly off road. (Praça=square). Note: Hilly inland from the water.

A good place to start is Praça da República — a grand, leafy green space with colonial era buildings. Do a loop around there, then take Av. Assis de Vasconcelos toward the waterfront. The next 2 km is a pleasant section along the waterfront. This is the Estação das Docas, an area of converted dock warehouses that has a nice stone-surfaced path alongside the Rio Acará. Run south, passing Presépio Fort and then loop around a series of small parks/squares, including the Praça Dom Pedro II. We suggest retracing your steps along the waterfront to the start. You can also use one of the roads such as R. Treze de Maio, but they are less pleasant.

Add-On: You can also access a 1 km waterfront path in the Portal da Amazônia area, which is ~2 km south, using the runnable but not that pleasant R Dr Assis.
