Uludag National Park, located 36 km from Bursa, is a popular visitor destination, known for its beautiful hiking trails, and in winter, as a ski resort. There are alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and forested areas. There are numerous cable cars that can serve to save major climbs.

This is principally a trail running area. There’s a good variety here, from easier, winding trails that climb to the summit and trails that cut across alpine meadows and glacial lakes. There are also some steeper options with challenging footing. Two popular trail runs are the 4.6 km trail through the forest from Sarialan to Cobankaya and the trail above the treeline to the glacial area. Another good option is the 2.1 km forested ’Live Young Trail’, located within the Sarialan Camp/Daily Use Area.

Note:  in the winter  the area is very snowy and serves mainly as a ski resort.
