Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek encircles a large section of the city between the Jumeirah Beach Park and Port Rashid, but it’s highlight is the Dubai Creek Park, tucked into the northern bend of the river between the hospital and the Hyatt. Wednesdays are for the ladies (and their kids) at this park, but all other days the park is open to the public between 8 am and 11 pm for a small fee of 5 AED. Inside the park, a 4 km circuit loops around the beautifully landscaped park with great views of the creek and the city skyline.

If you want to take your run outside the park, another option is to run around the creek starting at Maktoum Bridge, out to the pedestrian tunnel and back. You’ll mostly be out of the way of traffic and the views are great.
