Viti Levu has some lovely public beaches, several of which are great for running. Most are located at the southern end of the island.
Wailoaloa Beach. In Nadi. 2 km beach is a bit narrower, but at low tide the beach is plenty wide and the sand can be firm.
Natadola Beach. Popular 2 km beach. Fairly firm sand especially at low tide. Near Intercontinental Hotel.
Cuvu Beach. Southwestern part of the island. Sand not as good for running on this 1.3 km beach as some others on the island.
Pacific Harbour Beaches. The best option for a longer beach run. Can be 5 km one-way, though there are a couple of breaks where a road connection is needed. Generally firm sand.
Nasilai Beach. More secluded beach, known for its black sand. Up to 3 km, and sand can be firm depending on tides.
