Kashiihamakita Park / Island City Park

Island City is an artificial island in the Higashi ward, known for its huge landscaped garden and baseball games at the Teriha Sekisui House Arena. There is some terrific waterfront running there. A network of paths surrounds the bay, featuring lovely gardens and a bridge with fantastic views. Our ~5 mile route begins from Island City Central Park. Runners can take a lap around the park and head south to the waterfront. Cross over the bridge into Kashiihamakita Park and follow along the shore. Turn LEFT to cross the next bridge and continue LEFT on the Mishima Green Bay Walk. Upon reaching the Aitaka Bridge, cross to the other side of the bay. Take an optional jaunt north along the waterway, or simply continue south back to Island City Park.

Add-On: Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is nearby. Use the Uminonakamichio Bridge to get there (decent pedestrian path).
