The 4.2 mile loop around Reeds Lake is a good running option in East Grand Rapids. This is a marked trail on a combination of dedicated path and some on-road sections. There are lake views along some of the route. There are mile-markers along the way and the path is well-signed. There are some nice residential homes in the area. There’s also a running track at East Grand Rapids High School at the western end of the lake.
Add-Ons: The residential neighborhood south of the lake is pleasant for running.
Essentials
- 4.2 miles (6.8 km) loop
- Fairly flat
- Western end of lake, near parking area
- Best access/parking is from the High School/Library area at the western end of the lake
