Just north of Klaipėda, there’s some nice running in the Melnrage Beach Area. A highlight is the wooden boardwalk that runs for nearly 2.5 km alongside and above the beach, with nice grasslands/dunes and views of the beach and the Baltic Sea. We’ve mapped a 7.3 km loop, which uses the boardwalk one-way, and then a wooded path just inland for the return. Note: the beach is also runnable, depending on tides.

Start in Melnrage at Audros g. The boardwalk starts just north of there. Run for ~2.5 km, to the end near the Antrosios Melnragės g. Parking Lot. Head for 0.5 km east, to join the wooded path. Run north for 0.7 km, and then turn around, taking the path with parallels all the way back for 3.3 km, paralleling Pamario g. road.

A terrific 10k 'runseeing' tour of Klaipėda. It's scenic, mostly off-road, and hits the city's highlights: Old Town, Castle, harbor, Jonas Hill, Sculpture Park, and Malūno parkas.
Take a quick ferry from Klaipėda to the Curonian Spit, a popular recreation area for its resort towns and beaches. There's some nice waterside running, a long, wooded cycle path, and runnable beaches.
A series of pedestrian paths passing through sort of a linear park area in the southeastern part of Klaipėda, also connecting several schools. Up to ~4 km one-way, or a 10.7 km loop option -- nearly all off-road.
Gorgeous running in this resort town 30 km north of Klaipėda. Includes an L-shaped pier, Botanical Garden, parks, the festive, pedestrianized Basanavičiaus street, and a scenic, runnable beach.
