In the northern part of Lusaka, there’s decent running in the area of National Heroes Stadium. And just across the street is the OYDC Running Track — one of the best running tracks in Lusaka.
There is no designated route here. When there’s not an event taking place at the stadium, runners enjoy the quiet roads within the stadium complex and even the large parking lots. There are some paths on the west side around the National Heroes Memorial, and Independence Stadium across the way. One can put together a couple of km here, plus laps around the track.
