At the southwestern end of Mauritius, there some decent running on the coastal road between Blue Bay and Mahebourg. It’s a quieter road and less trafficked, since the main A10 road is a bit more inland. There are some nice water views and pretty foliage. Note: no shoulder or sidewalk. Go early or at quiet times.
Starting in Blue Bay or Mahebourg, follow the Coastal Road. It’s 5.8 km between the towns. The route is flat the whole way. In Mahebourg, there’s an 0.6 km waterfront esplanade, with great views.
