Idroscalo, known as the “sea of Milan”, is one of the most beautiful places for a run near Milan. This artificial lake, opened in 1930 during the height of seaplanes, is about 10 km east of central Milan, and near Linate Airport.
The popular route is the 6 km loop around the lake. It’s on paved paths and there are water views the whole way. Enjoy the lush green surroundings and the boats and crew teams in the water.
Add-Ons: Combine with the trails in Parco Forlanini, about 1km to the west.
