One of the best green spaces for running in Nancy is the Parc de la Pépinière at the north edge of the city center. This square shaped park features green lawns, shady tree cover, and a wide variety of runnable paths. An asphalt and gravel pathway outlines the perimeter of the path, totaling ~ 1.8 km. There’s a running track in the northeast of the park and some lovely dirt Allées crisscrossing the gardens.
Sights Add-On: Parc de la Pépinière is also a great jumping off point to explore some of Nancy’s historic and tourist sights. Run outside the park perimeter to see Place Stanislas, the Basilica of Saint Epvre of Nancy, Porte Désilles, and Place de la Carrière. This adds ~2 km.
Longer Run: Join the Canal Path or Meurthe River path, just east.
