As a way of getting away from the hustle and bustle of Daegu, we enjoy running on the campus of Kyungpook National University. One of ten flagship universities in South Korea, this pleasant, tree-shaded campus has a nice network of pedestrian paths, and a running track at its western end near the Gyeongdaegyo Bridge. Run this standalone or combine with our adjacent Sincheon River route!
We’ve mapped a loop around the campus, mainly using the pedestrian paths/sidewalks. It comes out to ~3.5 km. Use it as a guideline to create your own route. Our mapped route will take you by the main buildings, some nice landscaped features, and the area of athletic facilities, where the running track is located.
Add-On: Access the Sincheon River path at the western edge of campus, near the Gyeongdaegyo Bridge.
