Just north of St. George, on the way to Snow Canyon State Park, there’s a decent multi-use path paralleling Snow Canyon Parkway. The paved trail starts near Sunset Park off N Dixie Dr. as the Halfway Washington Trail and heads north for 1.5 miles through Royal Oaks Park to Snow Canyon Parkway. The trail then turns into the Snow Canyon Parkway Trail, paralleling the parkway, for 3.6 miles, with a couple of short on-road sections. So this makes for a nice ~5 mile paved off-road path, with views of the surrounding scenery. Note: it’s a steady climb headed north.
Add-Ons: The multi-use path continues as the ~6 mile Whiptail Trail, heading into Snow Canyon State Park. There are additional ‘trail running’ trails in Snow Canyon Park.
